【初一英文周记】This week was very busy but also very interesting. I had a lot of new things to learn in English class, and I felt proud when I could understand some of the sentences the teacher said.

On Monday, we had an English test. I studied hard for it, but I still made a few mistakes. However, the teacher said that I did better than last time, which made me feel happy. I will try my best to improve next week.

In the afternoon, our class had a group activity. We were asked to work with our classmates and create a short dialogue in English. My partner and I practiced a lot, and finally, we did a good job. I think working with others helps me learn more quickly.

I also watched an English movie at home this weekend. It was a bit difficult to understand, but I tried to guess the meaning of the words from the context. I think this is a good way to improve my listening skills.

Overall, this week was a good experience. I learned a lot, and I am looking forward to next week’s lessons. I hope I can keep improving my English and feel more confident when speaking.
