Sarah:
Hey Lily, you’re here again? I thought you were going to meet Tom today.
Lily:
Yeah… I just wanted to finish this paper before the deadline. And I haven’t seen him in a few days.
Sarah:
You know he’s been busy with his internship, right?
Lily:
I know, but it feels like he’s not even trying anymore. We used to talk every day.
[Sarah sits down beside her.]
Sarah:
Maybe he’s just stressed. You should call him.
Lily:
I did. He didn’t answer.
[A moment of silence. Lily looks down at the book in front of her.]
Sarah:
You know, sometimes people change. Maybe it’s time to move on.
Lily:
I don’t want to move on. I still love him.
场景二：教室外（傍晚）
[Lily is walking out of class, looking tired. Mr. Johnson is waiting by the door.]
Mr. Johnson:
Lily, can we talk for a minute?
Lily:
Sure, Professor.
Mr. Johnson:
I saw your paper. It’s very good. But I noticed something… unusual.
Lily:
Unusual?
Mr. Johnson:
Yes. You wrote about lost love and regret. Is everything okay?
Lily:
It’s just… personal.
Mr. Johnson:
Sometimes writing helps us understand our own feelings. Are you sure you’re okay?
Lily:
I’m fine. Thanks, Professor.
[She walks away, looking troubled.]
场景三：宿舍房间（晚上）
[Lily is sitting on her bed, holding a letter. Sarah enters.]
Sarah:
What’s that?
Lily:
It’s from Tom. I found it in his backpack when I went over yesterday.
Sarah:
And?
Lily:
He said he’s leaving for another city next week. He didn’t tell me.
Sarah:
That’s rough.
Lily:
He said he needs space. That he doesn’t know what he wants anymore.
Sarah:
So you’re just going to let him walk away?
Lily:
What else can I do?
[A long pause. Lily reads the letter again, tears forming in her eyes.]
Sarah:
You could fight for him. Or you could just let go.
Lily:
I don’t know which one is harder.
场景四：公园长椅（第二天早晨）
[Lily is sitting alone on a bench, looking at the sunrise. Tom approaches slowly.]
Tom:
Hey.
Lily:
Hey.
Tom:
I heard you found the letter.
Lily:
Yes.
Tom:
I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I didn’t want to hurt you.
Lily:
But you did.
Tom:
I didn’t mean to. I just… I was confused.
Lily:
So what now?
Tom:
I don’t know. I came here to say I’m sorry. And maybe… I want to try again.
[Lily looks up at him, unsure.]
Lily:
Do you really mean it?
Tom:
Yes. I miss you. I miss us.
[A long silence. Then Lily stands up and walks toward him.]
Lily:
Then let’s try.
[They embrace. The scene fades out.]
