上联：

五百里滇池奔来眼底，披襟岸帻，喜茫茫空阔无边。

看东骧神骏，西翥灵仪，北走蜿蜒，南翔缟素。

高人韵士，何妨选胜登临。

趁蟹屿螺洲，梳裹就风鬟雾鬓；

更萍天苇地，点缀些翠羽丹霞。

莫辜负四周香稻，万顷晴沙，九夏芙蓉，三春杨柳。

下联：

数千年往事注到心头，把酒凌虚，叹滚滚英雄谁在？

想汉习楼船，唐标铁柱，宋挥玉斧，元跨革囊。

伟烈丰功，费尽移山心力。

尽珠帘画栋，卷不及暮雨朝云；

便断碣残碑，都付与苍烟落照。

只赢得几杵疏钟，半江渔火，两行秋雁，一枕清霜。

Upper Couplet:

From the five hundred li of Dianchi Lake rushing into my eyes, I throw open my coat and raise my headgear, rejoicing in the vastness of its boundless expanse.

I see the eastern horse galloping majestically, the western phoenix soaring gracefully, the northern snake winding elegantly, and the southern crane flying gracefully.

Wise men and poets, why not choose to ascend for a better view?

On the crab isles and snail reefs, they comb their hair like misty clouds;

And on the reed-covered waters, they add colorful birds and red clouds.

Do not miss out on the fragrance of rice paddies all around, the thousands of acres of sunny sand, the lotuses blooming in summer, and the willows swaying in spring.

Lower Couplet:

Thousands of years of history come flooding into my mind, raising a cup to the sky, lamenting how all the great heroes have faded away.

Think of the Han dynasty's shipbuilding, the Tang dynasty's iron columns, the Song dynasty's jade axes, and the Yuan dynasty's leather boats.

Their grand achievements and heroic efforts, exhausted by the effort to move mountains.

Even the most exquisite palaces with painted beams and curtains cannot escape the fleeting rain and clouds;

The broken steles and shattered inscriptions are left to the misty smoke and twilight glow.

All that remains are a few distant temple bells, half a river of fishing lights, two lines of autumn geese, and one pillow of clear frost.
